Customer Question:

Do you have any info you can provide about the removal of the Thinny? I have thick, curly and long hair and don''t want to use something that will yank out hair when I remove it. Can you please provide info or video, pictures, or whatever? Just worried about the "gripping" aspects. Thank you.

Deirdre Answer:

If you go to http://www.youtube.com --- once you are on Youtube-type in the search box :thinnyhairholder. There is a video of me ( blond 56 year old woman wearing a blue silk dress) which I launched in Feb 2009, which shows you how to remove the Thinny. I am also including by March 1st, 2009 instructions on this site on how to remove the Thinny. Here they are in brief form:

1) Never yank Thinny from one end.

(2) Do not yank Thinny from one side of your head.

3) Gently pull the hair from the front of you head back away from Thinny

(4) With both hands, take finger tips and place under the Thinny on both sides of your head. ( as if your fingers were little rakes);

(5) Gently, slowly and steadily with even movement on both sides of your head-

(6)Lift fingertips up into the air until the Thinny is free of your hair.

(7) Deirdre Tips On How To Use Thinny For Best Results:

(a) Keep your hair healthy.

(b) Never wrap your hair around the Thinny. Thinny is not a hair roller!

(c ) IF you have poker straight hair as I do, Try using a curling iron or hot rollers before you use Thinny.

(d) If your hair is dry, fragile or damaged, due to bleaching, foiling, or Straighteners, Use a good quality conditioner on your hair before you use Thinny.
